Job summary

Gusto is seeking an experienced, hands-on people manager to lead a data science and analytics team supporting Growth product initiatives. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to deliver insights and frameworks that inform strategy and drive growth.

The role balances strategic influence with hands-on execution, mentoring data scientists, and guiding AI-enabled analyses to impact product decisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data science experience with at least 4 years in people management.
• Deep expertise in product analytics across SaaS or product-led environments.
• Technical fluency with modeling, experimentation, and mentoring data scientists.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a data science and analytics team.
• Shape product and business strategy through data.
