Job summary

Truist is seeking an AI Enablement Director to lead enterprise AI and data initiatives in a highly regulated financial services environment. You will shape strategies, govern data platforms, and drive scalable AI capabilities across business, technology, legal, and risk functions.

You will influence senior stakeholders, design end-to-end delivery models, and build automation and testing capabilities to minimize incidents while delivering measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/DS/AI, or related field; 12+ years in AI/data domains.
• Experience leading enterprise AI/data transformations in regulated financial services.
• Strong delivery governance, risk and regulatory engagement capability.

Responsibilities

• Recommends and shapes AI and data strategies and operational plans.
• Designs AI platforms, data architectures, and analytics solutions.
• Leads large cross-divisional technical initiatives with no formal authority.
• Establishes enterprise standards for AI development, deployment, monitoring, lifecycle.
• Oversees model performance, risk controls, explainability, and ethical AI.
• Partners with senior leaders to identify high-impact AI opportunities.
• Acts as senior technical advisor on emerging AI technologies and trends.
• Mentors senior technical talent and drives capability maturity.
• Drives innovation through PoC leadership and continuous improvement.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and governance across AI initiatives.
