JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Lead Architect to shape future architecture across the Commercial & Investment Bank Payments Technology group in a high-impact role. You will guide governance, drive technology decisions, and contribute to secure, scalable software delivery.

The role emphasizes data architecture, cloud-native delivery, and AI-enabled engineering patterns with strong validation and security controls.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on architecture concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
• 6+ years delivering data architecture and analytics solutions with practical cloud-native experience.
• Advanced in one or more programming languages and deep expertise in software architecture and related domains.
• Ability to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into enterprise-grade architectures with security and auditability.

Responsibilities

• Represent a product family in technical governance bodies and propose improvements to architecture governance practices
• Regularly provide technical guidance to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
• Leverage enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate architecture analysis and decisioning with human-in-the-loop validation
• Guide evaluation of current and new technologies using existing standards and frameworks, influencing peers to adopt leading-edge solutions
• Drive decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
• Develop secure and high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others
• Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert and advocate for firmwide software development lifecycle frameworks and practices
• Establish reuse-first AI-enabled engineering patterns and governance across lifecycle and toolchain with traceability and security controls
