Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Lead Architect to drive high-impact architecture solutions across payments and beyond. You will shape target-state technology strategy and guide governance, security, and AI-enabled engineering across product families.

You will lead design reviews, influence senior stakeholders, and deliver secure, production-grade code while advancing platform capabilities and onboarding transformations.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on architecture concepts.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design and operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in programming languages and architecture disciplines.
• Experience applying enterprise AI capabilities within architecture workflows.
• Ability to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled capabilities in enterprise architectures.
• Strong judgment and communication to influence technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Represent a product family in governance bodies and improve architecture governance.
• Provide technical guidance to business teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Leverage AI capabilities to accelerate architecture analysis with human-in-the-loop validation.
• Evaluate current and emerging technologies using standards and frameworks.
• Drive decisions influencing product design, functionality, and operations.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review peers' work.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate SDAF lifecycle practices.
• Establish reuse-first, AI-enabled engineering patterns with traceability and security controls.
• Shape the digital transformation strategy for payments onboarding and client integrations.
