Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.) is seeking a hands-on Senior Manager, Data Quality and Metadata Lead to operationalize our information governance program within the IT Data & AI Platform. You will define frameworks, standards, and enablement services to make enterprise data trusted, well-described, and discoverable across structured and unstructured content.

You will partner with Data Stewards, Data Owners, Data Product Owners, and the Enterprise Data Catalogue Platform Owner to translate

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Governance or related discipline
• At least 2 years in a lead or senior IC role
• Deep knowledge of Data Quality frameworks (DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM, ISO 8000)
• Hands-on experience with data quality tools (Ataccama DQM, Informatica IDQ, Collibra DQ, Talend)
• Strong Metadata Management across structured and unstructured data
• Experience with enterprise data catalogs (Atlan preferred)
• Cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake) and modern stack tools (Matillion, dbt)
• Regulatory familiarity (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, HIPAA) and AI grounding basics
• Understanding of AI/ML data readiness for RAG pipelines

Responsabilités

• Define and maintain the enterprise Data Quality Framework with dimensions, scoring, and remediation
• Establish standards for data profiling, rule definitions, monitoring, and issue management
• Publish playbooks and reference implementations for quick adoption
• Evolve the framework with regulatory requirements and lessons learned
• Provide hands-on guidance and training on data quality practices and tools
• Support domain teams in defining rules and building dashboards
• Establish a Data Quality Community of Practice across domains
• Prioritize and resolve high-impact data quality issues with domain teams
• Define enterprise metadata standards for both structured and unstructured data
• Capture and maintain end-to-end data lineage from sources to AI consumption
• Define metadata enrichment for discovery and AI grounding
• Ensure metadata supports regulatory traceability and audit readiness
• Operationalize Atlan with the Enterprise Data Catalogue Platform Owner
• Collaborate with data quality tool owners to configure Atlan/Ataccama
• Define integration patterns across catalog, quality tools, MDM, pipelines, analytics
• Contribute to platform roadmaps and requirements
• Define and publish enterprise data quality & metadata KPIs
• Provide regular progress reporting to IG Lead
• Drive continuous improvement of practices, tools, and standards
• Collaborate with the Associate Director, Information Architecture and cross-functional teams
