Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant in the Data Protection & Privacy space to lead data security strategies and implement protection measures for clients. You will work within EY’s Cybersecurity Practice as part of a global, high-performing team focused on protecting client data and ensuring business resilience.

The role emphasizes developing data protection strategies, implementing solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and approximately 2-3 years of related work experience.
• Approximately 2-3 years of technical architecture experience integrating data protection software.
• Knowledge of general security concepts and methods (vulnerability assessments, privacy assessments, incident response).
• Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP), OS fundamentals, security technologies and scripting languages.
• Demonstrated experience in three or more areas: data leakage, DRM, data classification, encryption, PKI, and logging.

Responsibilities

• Define technical and business requirements for data protection solutions.
• Develop processes and policies for controlling access to data.
• Identify high value assets and develop data classification schemes.
• Implement and advise on data protection products (DLP, data discovery, encryption, DRM, PKI).
• Travel to meet client needs and deliver solutions.
