Job summary

Contact Government Services, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer (Commvault) to design, implement, and secure enterprise backup solutions across WAN environments. The role focuses on data protection, restore capabilities, and efficient recovery operations for federal data assets.

The engineer will work with operation teams to support infrastructure processes, apply DISA STIGs, and ensure vulnerability remediation and patch management across backup platforms.

Qualifications

Experience with Commvault data protection application.
Knowledge of LAN/WAN, Windows Server, Linux, and SQL.
Experience applying DISA STIGs to Commvault systems.
Security tasks including documentation, vulnerability review, patch management, and auditing.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, integrate and secure backup/recovery/storage solutions over WAN for dispersed environments.
Create and maintain optimal backup, restore and redundancy solutions for critical data.
Troubleshoot complex backup and recovery issues across network, server, and applications.
Provide analytics, capacity planning and reporting for backup infrastructure.
Apply security updates and patches to backup servers and appliances per federal requirements.
