Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to design, implement and maintain the organization's data protection infrastructure, including DLP, DSPM and de-identification solutions. The role collaborates with senior engineers across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments (GCP/AWS/Azure) to meet security and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with Data Loss Prevention
• 5 years of experience with Information Security and Systems Analysis
• 5 years of experience with deploying and maintaining infrastructure for DLP software
• 5 years of experience with creating and managing DLP policies
• 3 years of experience with at least two cloud providers: GCP, AWS or Azure

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain components of the data protection infrastructure across platforms and vendors
• Collaborate on design and implementation of data protection solutions in on-prem and cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure)
• Configure and maintain data protection policies across platforms
• Troubleshoot data protection incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Contribute to data protection projects with testing, implementation and documentation
• Leverage PowerShell and Python to improve deployment and maintenance
• Collaborate with team to expand knowledge of data protection technologies
• Stay current with data protection technologies, industry best practices and compliance requirements
