Job summary

SDL Tech Search is seeking a senior, hands-on Senior Associate, Data Products to own Private Equity data products within the Snowflake ecosystem. You will drive platform architecture, data certification, lineage, and quality controls in partnership with Data Governance, delivering secure and scalable data products.

Ideal candidates bring deep Snowflake expertise, AI-assisted development experience, and the ability to translate complex investment processes into robust data models and platform

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or related technical disciplines.
• Strong background in software architecture and scalable systems design.

Responsibilities

• Own data ingestion, transformation, and modeling for Private Equity data sources.
• Deliver end-to-end solutions from requirements to production with AI-assisted practices.
• Embed data certification, lineage, and quality controls into platform architecture.
• Ensure reliability and performance of data pipelines, especially near quarterly closes.
• Configure and optimize Snowflake environments and RBAC, cost controls, and data sharing.
• Manage infrastructure and deployment as code with modern DevOps practices.
• Translate complex processes into scalable data models and platform solutions.
• Contribute to product roadmap planning and technical strategy with leadership.
• Establish engineering standards and mentor contractors and offshore staff.
• Collaborate with Data Governance, Security, and Cloud Operations teams.
