Bain Capital is seeking a Senior Associate for Private Equity Data Products in Boston. You will own the Snowflake-based data products, lead data modeling, certification, and governance, and work with Finance, Operations, and Data Governance leadership.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of professional data platform, data engineering, or software engineering experience.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear specifications and scalable designs.

Responsabilités

• Own ingestion and data modeling for Private Equity source systems.
• Deliver changes from specification to production quickly using AI coding agents.
• Build data certification, lineage, and data quality checks into the codebase.
• Own pipeline reliability, especially during quarterly close.
• Set up monitoring and alerting and drive incident resolution.
• Configure Snowflake including RBAC, cost management, data sharing, multi-account setup.
• Manage infrastructure, permissions, and governance metadata as code.
• Translate complex business processes into data models and system designs, shaping the capability roadmap.
• Set technical standards, review designs and code, mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Information Security, and Cloud Operations.
