Job summary

The Doctors Company seeks a Senior Data Products & Decision Intelligence Engineer to design, build, and support governed data products and AI-enabled workflows. The role collaborates with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions across underwriting, claims, patient safety, and operations.

Hybrid work option, preferably in New York City or any TDC Group/ProAssurance office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience developing, implementing, and supporting data, analytics, software engineering, or enterprise technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support production data products and business solutions that address priority operational needs.
• Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify objectives, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Translate business problems into practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Participate actively in solution design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Build and maintain governed analytical datasets, reusable data products, and decision-support assets.
• Support business intelligence, analytics, AI, and machine learning initiatives through reliable data foundations.
• Contribute to operationalization of workflows, dashboards, models, and business-facing applications.
• Assist with user adoption, feedback collection, and continuous improvement of delivered capabilities.
• Develop and support integrations across enterprise platforms, application systems, and data sources.
• Build and maintain scalable pipelines, transformation processes, and operational data flows.
• Support enterprise modernization initiatives and implementation of reusable integration patterns.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for data sources, transformations, dependencies, and support processes.
