Job summary

Thrivent Financial seeks a Sr Product Manager to define strategy and vision for a portfolio of enterprise data products supporting Corporate Functions. You will partner across business and technology to identify opportunities, prioritize investments, and ensure data products deliver meaningful business value through analytics and AI-enabled experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years relevant business experience, including in product owner role or similar.
• Experience partnering with business leaders, data engineers, architects, and technical delivery teams.
• Experience leading product discovery activities and translating business needs into product investments and roadmap priorities.
• Strong prioritization and tradeoff-management skills across competing stakeholder needs.
• Ability to influence without direct authority across business and technology teams.
• Agile Product Management, stakeholder management, market and user research, technology management, and process design.
• Certified Product Manager or similar certification (preferred).
• Experience with modern data platforms and data governance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Define the long-term product roadmap as part of a larger business strategy.
• Develop a compelling product strategy through personas, use cases, customer benefits, and solution value propositions.
• Lead collaboration to manage and prioritize product roadmap across multiple products.
• Collaborate to resolve conflicts in a constructive manner when they arise.
• Ensure product teams understand business outcomes and tie them to broader goals.
• Identify and track KPIs and ensure they deliver business value.
• Coach product teams and stakeholders to address gaps and improve KPI delivery.
• Prioritize roadmaps within capacity to maximize value to customers.
