Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R.
• Experience with Public Sector clients.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Spark, Hadoop, Kafka.
• Experience in Data Warehousing (SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS).
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to help customers understand Databricks benefits.
• Provide technical leadership for customers evaluating and adopting Databricks.
• Consult on big data architecture and implement proofs of concept for strategic projects.
• Build reference architectures, how-tos, and demo apps for customers.
• Promote Databricks open-source projects across developer communities.
• Travel to customers within your region.
