Job summary

Grainger is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to shape Grainger's enterprise data platform. You will drive modernization, enable AI-ready data, and work with Data Platform, Product, and Security teams to define and execute a strategic roadmap.

You will collaborate with Directors of Engineering, align technical and business goals, and manage intake for data platform requests to prioritize impactful work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years in Technical/Product Management, Engineering, or Engineering Management.
• Experience in cross-functional, matrixed organizations and with data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Learn engineering needs by talking with teams and market research.
• Define product features and priorities with stakeholders.
• Translate customer needs into clear requirements and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering and security teams to deliver reliable software.
• Package changes with docs, demos, and release notes to drive adoption.
• Monitor platform outcomes and raise risks early to keep teams aligned.
