Job summary

Gallup is seeking a senior product manager for our data platform to shape how we use nearly a century of data to power analytics, research, AI/ML workflows and product development. You’ll modernize a complex legacy data environment and build a scalable, trusted, self-service platform.

You’ll own the strategy and road map, partner with data architects and engineers, and translate stakeholder needs into repeatable platform capabilities that serve internal teams and leaders across the globe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of product management, including 4+ years in data platforms or developer products.
• Deep understanding of data engineering, ingestion, pipelines and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and road map for Gallup’s enterprise data platform, ingestion, transformation pipelines, semantic layers and tooling.
• Translate architectural direction into quarterly plans with milestones and adoption goals.
• Partner with data architects and engineers to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure.
• Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions and identify reusable abstractions and self-service capabilities.
• Establish data-as-a-product standards, SLAs, data contracts, and interface standards.
• Shape governance frameworks for data quality, schema controls and observability.
• Serve as the front door for platform needs, translating demand into scalable platform problems.
• Communicate capabilities and progress clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
