Job summary

BambooHR is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the strategy and execution of our core data platform—the foundational layer powering data for all products and AI experiences. This role focuses on the canonical data model, data definitions, contracts, and adoption, with internal customers across product and engineering in mind.

You will own data catalog, enable easy API access, and partner with architects to balance tradeoffs while delivering measurable outcomes for integrations and AI

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Product Manager, shipping data-driven products.
• Technical depth in data modeling, API design, or data infrastructure.
• Proven ability to align multiple teams and stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with SaaS or AI-enabled platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve canonical data model across product and engineering.
• Collaborate with architects to make tradeoffs and document implications.
• Ensure clean APIs, documented contracts, and upgrade paths.
• Own data catalog and validation across new domains.
• Measure adoption and impact on integrations and AI features.
• Move platform milestones that unblock downstream teams.
