Job summary

Humana is seeking an Associate Director, Data Platform Engineering to lead strategy, architecture, governance, and improvements of enterprise data platforms, including SQL Server environments. You will partner with engineering, operations, and business leaders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions.

You will steer technical planning, define standards, ensure reliability, and mentor engineering teams while driving modernization across the data platform organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years in data engineering, database administration, or platform engineering.
• 2+ years in leadership or people management.
• Experience with enterprise SQL Server environments.
• Experience with data platform architecture, automation, and integrations.
• Experience developing engineering standards and governance.
• Experience leading technical projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience improving customer outcomes through technology.
