Medbridge is hiring a Staff Data Engineer to own the Snowflake‑centered data platform, guiding security, reliability, and data movement across the organization.

The role partners with Analytics Engineering, DevOps, Data Science, Security, and Product Engineering to deliver scalable data solutions for AI workloads and customer facing products. Healthcare experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Deep experience designing and operating cloud data platforms with secure, reliable production operations.
• Strong Snowflake expertise, including RBAC, secure access patterns, and cost optimization.
• Proven data pipeline experience with batch and incremental processing, failure handling, retries, and observability.
• Strong Python and SQL engineering skills with modular design and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the target‑state architecture and technical roadmap for Medbridge’s Snowflake‑centered data platform.
• Build and operate reliable data pipelines and integrations using Python and SQL, covering ingestion, processing, and recovery.
• Design and enforce Snowflake security and RBAC with least privilege and auditability.
• Establish production‑grade engineering and platform operations, including testing, version control, and monitoring.
• Own data governance, contracts, and technical lineage across source systems and downstream consumers.
• Enable secure data delivery to applications, APIs, analytics, and ML workloads with reusable patterns.
• Lead cross‑functional technical initiatives and raise engineering standards.
