Job summary

NextGen Healthcare is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer who will own the enterprise Snowflake data platform and drive modernization of the cloud data estate. The role blends hands-on engineering with technical leadership to ensure trusted, scalable data for Finance, Sales, HR and Executive Analytics.

You will design and operate scalable ELT/ETL pipelines, manage security, RBAC, cost, and reliability while mentoring engineers and defining data architecture and governance standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise data engineering experience.
• Expert experience with Snowflake, SQL, Informatica, Python, and modern cloud data platforms.
• Experience designing enterprise data warehouses, dimensional models, and scalable ELT architectures.
• Experience supporting financial reporting, reconciliations, and mission-critical production data platforms.
• Experience administering cloud platforms including AWS services supporting enterprise data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise Snowflake data platform including administration, security, RBAC, warehouse management, cost optimization, monitoring, performance tuning, and operational reliability.
