Job summary

Cohere Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the data platform to own end-to-end data pipelines powering analytics, operations, and clinical intelligence. This remote-first role may require travel to Boston for onboarding.

You will collaborate with analytics engineers, architects, and product stakeholders, write clean Python and SQL, enforce data quality and governance, and mentor teammates to raise standards while helping scale the platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering or software development focused on data infrastructure.
• Experience building large-scale, governed data pipelines.
• Strong Python and SQL with production-grade code and tests.
• Experience with Airflow, dbt, and big data tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of complex data pipelines across domains.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise engineering standards.
• Enforce data quality, schema validation, observability across pipelines.
• Collaborate with analytics engineers, product, and compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotations and champion best practices.
