Cohere Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Data Platform to design and deliver large-scale, governed data pipelines powering analytics and clinical intelligence.

This remote-first role may require travel to Boston for onboarding and occasional in-person team meetings and company events. You’ll mentor others, uphold data quality, and collaborate with analytics, product, and compliance teams.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or Data Engineering.
• 5+ years in data engineering or software development with data infrastructure focus.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale, governed data platforms.
• Experience with APIs in production systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of complex data pipelines across domains.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise engineering standards.
• Ensure data quality, schema validation, and observability.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and governance alignment.
• Write clean Python and SQL; follow CI/CD and documentation practices.
• Monitor production workflows with Airflow, dbt, AWS tools.
• Collaborate with analytics, product, compliance teams.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support critical jobs.
• Foster culture of excellence and knowledge sharing.
