Job summary

HealthEdge in the United States is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to design and develop cloud-native, large-scale data platforms for multi-tenant healthcare solutions. You will own significant portions of the data layer and collaborate with a global engineering team to deliver robust, secure and scalable services.

You will work across the full software lifecycle, write advanced SQL and Python, optimize databases, and apply AI tooling to accelerate pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with data modeling and data management for multiple applications.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server or similar databases.
• Ability to program and develop advanced SQL scripts, tables, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers & constraints.
• Very good experience in procedural programming in Python and Linux shell scripting.
• (Preferred) Airflow for building and debugging DAGs.
• (Preferred) AWS or any major cloud provider experience.
• Optimizes database performance through tuning techniques and tools.
• Strong analytical, logical skills and experience with Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Develop data services and tools to enable core product capabilities.
• Build cloud-native, large-scale, scalable, distributed data pipelines for a multi-tenant system.
• Collaborate with peers to make quality design and engineering decisions.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate engineering efforts.
• Own the software lifecycle from planning to deployment of database components.
• Evaluate new technologies and trade-offs; participate in R&D and prototyping.
• Ensure software meets non-functional requirements including security and operations.
• Handle multiple tracks of work in parallel.
• Communicate effectively to solve problems.
