Crusoe Energy is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join our central Data Science and Engineering team. This on-site role, based in Sunnyvale, CA or San Francisco, focuses on architecting and building the foundational data platform infrastructure powering our AI and cloud operations.

You will design scalable data systems, ensure data quality, collaborate with software engineers and data scientists, and mentor teammates as the team grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive software/ data infrastructure experience.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect Data Platform Infrastructure to serve analytics, ML, and operational intelligence.
• Build high-performance data processing frameworks and storage for AI/Cloud workloads.
• Champion data quality, monitoring, and observability at scale.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and operations teams.
• Drive architectural decisions and mentor teammates as the team grows.
