Job summary

Harvey Nash Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Data Platform in New York. You will own core data pipelines and warehouse infrastructure for healthcare tech, driving end-to-end design, build, and operation of production-grade systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in production data environments, strong Python/SQL, Snowflake or similar warehouses, and experience with orchestration tools (Airflow/Tempor al/Prefect). AWS, dbt, and observability tools like Datadog are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating production data systems.
• Strong hands-on Python and SQL.
• Experience with Snowflake or other modern cloud data warehouses.
• Data orchestration with Temporal, Airflow, Prefect or similar.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, pipeline reliability, backfills, idempotency, and production troubleshooting.
• Experience with AWS, dbt/SQLMesh, and observability tools like Datadog.

Responsibilities

• Own major engineering workstreams end to end, designing, building, and operating production-grade data pipelines and warehouse infrastructure.
• Take ownership of architecture decisions and deliver foundational data systems.
• Collaborate across teams to power healthcare technology and revenue cycle management.
• Remain hands-on in production to troubleshoot and optimize data platforms.
