Job summary

TRM Labs is seeking a senior engineer to own performance tuning on the StarRocks serving layer in our government cloud investigations. You will build reliable data pipelines and reduce single-point-of-failure risk while operating in a high-compliance environment.

You will use AI-assisted tooling to accelerate debugging, code review, and documentation, and collaborate with global teams across a distributed-first company.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating distributed OLAP or serving-layer systems at scale.
• Experience owning data pipeline reliability and incident response.
• Independent ownership mindset with ability to ramp quickly in production infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own performance tuning on the StarRocks serving layer and optimize slow queries.
• Build and harden data pipelines feeding government cloud investigations with reliable changes.
• Decrease single-point-of-failure risk by enabling independent operation of the serving layer.
