Job summary

TRM Labs in the United States is seeking a senior engineer to own the StarRocks serving layer within the government cloud investigations platform. You will optimize queries, stabilize pipelines, and reduce incident response time in a high‑compliance environment.

This role emphasizes on-call ownership, AI-assisted debugging, and close collaboration with Data Platform, Forward Deployed Engineering, and Product teams to keep GovCloud parity with the commercial platform.

Qualifications

• Experience operating distributed OLAP or serving-layer systems at scale.
• Experience owning data pipeline reliability and incident response.
• Ability to leverage AI tools for debugging, code review, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Tune performance on the StarRocks serving layer and optimize query patterns.
• Build and harden data pipelines feeding government cloud investigations.
• Reduce single-point-of-failure risk by enabling independent operation of the serving layer.
• Use AI-assisted debugging and log analysis to accelerate root-cause fixes in production.
