Job summary

TRM Labs is seeking an engineer to own the StarRocks serving layer within the government cloud investigations environment. You will tune performance, build robust data pipelines, and reduce single points of failure while operating in a high‑compliance setting.

You will leverage AI tools to accelerate debugging, code review, and documentation, and collaborate across a distributed team to keep TRM’s GovCloud platform fast, reliable, and compliant.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating distributed OLAP or serving-layer systems.
• Experience owning data pipeline reliability and incident response.
• Comfort using AI tools to accelerate debugging, code review, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own performance tuning on the StarRocks serving layer using AI-assisted profiling to fix slow queries before incidents.
• Build and harden data pipelines feeding government cloud investigations with AI-assisted workflows.
• Reduce single-point-of-failure risk by becoming the second engineer who can operate the serving layer and troubleshoot issues independently.
• Use AI-assisted debugging and log analysis to triage production issues and drive rapid root-cause fixes.
