Applicants should have extensive experience with distributed systems, data analytics, and data visualization, with preference for Kubernetes experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering related development experience.
• In-depth expertise in distributed systems and data processing.
• Experience with data infrastructure and data analytics.
• Kubernetes experience is preferred.
• Experience with data visualization and dashboard design is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design reliable, scalable data infrastructure and pipelines for insights and quality decisions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to build data products improving Verkada products and customer experience.
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance in data systems.
• Lead projects from design through implementation.
• Help lead and grow junior engineers.
