Job summary

Verkada is looking for a Data Platform Engineer to build scalable data infrastructure and services that enable cross-functional teams to make data-driven decisions. You will own end-to-end data and analytics solutions, from ingestion to real-time monitoring, while ensuring data quality and security across the stack.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of software engineering experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
• Passion for product quality and building reliable systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve analytical infrastructure that enables teams to easily collect, transform, analyze, and understand data.
• Build real-time data infrastructure to support streaming data processing and provide real-time visibility into critical business and system metrics.
• Work cross-functionally to build data products used across the company, including by Engineering, Finance, Accounting, and other teams.
• Design and implement solutions that ensure data quality, reliability, security, and compliance.
• Make informed technical decisions and take end-to-end ownership of the services and applications you build.
