DRW is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for the Unified Platform to design, build, and operate the data platform and managed services used by traders, researchers, and back-office teams. You will own services, mentor engineers, and contribute to metadata management and governance on a fast-paced trading floor.

The role emphasizes production-ready software, scalable data pipelines, and collaboration with users to resolve issues and improve performance across batch and streaming workloads.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of experience with data technologies or distributed systems.
• Proficient in Java and/or Python; strong SQL, Bash, Linux familiarity.
• Experience building and operating data/infrastructure services for teams.
• Ownership of projects from design through deployment and operation.
• Understanding of distributed systems trade-offs and data consistency.

• Design, build, and operate managed data platform services.
• Lead design decisions and delivery of platform components from requirements to deployment.
• Automate provisioning, upgrades, and monitoring of services.
• Develop and integrate data catalogs and lineage tooling for discovery and governance.
