Job summary

DRW is seeking a Data Engineer to collaborate with traders, researchers, and engineering teams to build scalable data infrastructure supporting time-series data and fast APIs. You will own data products from concept through production, work across batch and streaming pipelines, and ensure high data quality and reliability in a fast-moving environment.

The role requires experience with Python/Java/C++, streaming platforms like Kafka, and data lake technologies such as Delta Lake or Apache

Qualifications

• 2+ years programming in at least two languages (Python/Java/C++).
• Experience collaborating with end customers on production systems.
• Ability to handle complex problems and reduce complexity.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and engineers.
• Experience with financial markets and low-latency data systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions for trading activities.
• Own data products from concept to production stability.
• Design and maintain batch and real-time time-series data pipelines.
• Develop APIs for fast access to historical and live data.
• Provide on-call support as needed.
