Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to build, run, and evolve an Azure Databricks data platform that ingests, validates, and protects data for business domain data engineering teams.

You will lead platform development, CI/CD, IaC, and data governance efforts, while collaborating with remote teams and stakeholders. The role emphasizes reliability, security, and scalable data pipelines in a healthcare context.

Qualifications

• 3+ years progressive in software, platform, DevOps/SRE, or data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain shared Python libraries and configuration-driven frameworks for domain teams to onboard and run pipelines with minimal platform help.
• Own GitHub Actions pipelines and release process, promoting Databricks Asset Bundles from sandbox to production.
• Extend Terraform coverage of Azure and Databricks infrastructure.
• Support production platform reliability, observability, incidents, and runbooks.
• Maintain platform and data controls with Unity Catalog and safeguard data in a regulated healthcare environment.
