1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Solutions Engineer to join our Data Products & Platforms team.

You will design analytics-ready datasets in Snowflake, develop robust ELT pipelines, and create semantic views to standardize KPIs for trusted reporting and self-service analytics. As a senior contributor, you’ll partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable data solutions, onboard data across brands, and enable forecasting, ML, and AI initiatives with tools like

Qualifications

• Five+ years in data analytics, analytics engineering, or data engineering.
• Advanced SQL skills with complex queries and transformations.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines (Coalesce.io, dbt or equivalent).
• Strong data modeling knowledge: dimensional models, star schemas.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own analytics-ready datasets in Snowflake.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines with Coalesce.io or dbt.
• Create semantic views standardizing KPIs and business logic.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into data solutions.
• Onboard data from multiple sources and standardize information across brands.
• Enable self-service analytics via Sigma and Power BI.
• Document datasets, metrics, models, and business rules.
• Monitor data quality and performance; improve reliability.
