1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC is seeking a Senior Data Solutions Engineer to join our Data Products & Platforms team. You will shape the analytics data layer, define metrics, and enable trusted, scalable analytics across the organization.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, analytics partners, and data engineers to ensure data reliability and readiness for advanced analytics, AI use cases, and self-service reporting across tools like Sigma and Power BI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data analytics, analytics engineering, or data engineering.
• Advanced SQL with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
• Experience building ELT pipelines with Coalesce.io, dbt, or comparable tools.
• Strong experience supporting BI/analytics tools (Sigma, Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Deep understanding of data modeling including fact/dimension tables and star schemas.
• Proven ability to translate analytics needs into scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own analytics-ready datasets in Snowflake.
• Develop and maintain Snowflake semantic views for KPIs and metrics.
• Translate analytical needs into scalable data solutions with business partners.
• Enable self-service analytics across BI tools (Sigma, Power BI).
• Document datasets, metrics, and analytical models clearly.
