Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Data Platform Engineer for a leading healthcare organization.

This role will architect and build modern cloud-based data platforms leveraging Snowflake, AI/GenAI technologies, and advanced analytics capabilities to power analytics, automation, and intelligent business decision-making. Design and optimize Snowflake data platforms, build scalable ELT/ETL pipelines with Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, and Python; develop semantic models for analytics teams; implement Cortex

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Data Engineering or Cloud Data Architecture experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Strong SQL and Snowflake performance tuning expertise.
• Experience with dbt and Python development.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Healthcare data experience (EMR, claims, provider, patient datasets).
• Experience with Snowflake Cortex, AI, and GenAI solutions.
• Kafka or Kinesis streaming experience.
• Machine learning deployment experience.
• Data governance and metadata management expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize enterprise Snowflake data platforms.
• Build scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, and Python.
• Develop semantic layers and data models for analytics teams.
• Implement AI/GenAI solutions leveraging Snowflake Cortex tools.
• Enable document intelligence and unstructured data processing capabilities.
• Drive governance, security, compliance, and automation initiatives.
