Qualifications

• US citizen or permanent resident; must be able to obtain government badge and pass background check.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 10+ years in Data Systems/Engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL and Python.
• Strong proficiency in DevSecOps, Snowflake, AWS, Jenkins and GitHub.
• Knowledge of data lake, data modeling, data integration, data warehousing, and modern data architecture.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to present findings to stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and related tooling.
• Snowflake Certification is a plus; government agency experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and define business rules.
• Design schemas and scalable data models (star/snowflake) to support analytics and AI workloads.
• Design secure, scalable, and cost‑optimized data solutions.
• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS and Snowflake tooling.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from diverse sources.
• Develop and optimize data models to support analytics, reporting, and ops.
• Implement data quality, validation, and monitoring frameworks.
• Ensure modular, testable, version‑controlled workflows; operate pipelines with monitoring and recovery.
