Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Data Platform Engineer for a leading healthcare organization.

This role will architect and build modern cloud-based data platforms leveraging Snowflake, AI/GenAI technologies, and advanced analytics capabilities to power analytics, automation, and intelligent business decision-making. Design and optimize Snowflake data platforms, build scalable ELT/ETL pipelines with Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, and Python; develop semantic models for analytics teams; implement Cortex

Qualifications

8+ years of Data Engineering or Cloud Data Architecture experience.
5+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
Strong SQL and Snowflake performance tuning expertise.
Experience with dbt and Python development.
Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Healthcare data experience (EMR, claims, provider, patient datasets).
Experience with Snowflake Cortex, AI, and GenAI solutions.
Kafka or Kinesis streaming experience.
Machine learning deployment experience.
Data governance and metadata management expertise.

Responsibilities

Design and optimize enterprise Snowflake data platforms.
Build scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, and Python.
Develop semantic layers and data models for analytics teams.
Implement AI/GenAI solutions leveraging Snowflake Cortex tools.

This individual will architect and build modern cloud-based data platforms leveraging Snowflake, AI/GenAI technologies, and advanced analytics capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of data engineering, cloud architecture, and AI expertise while helping the organization scale enterprise data solutions that power analytics, automation, and intelligent business decision-making.

Day-to-Day:
