Job summary

Publicis Sapient seeks a Senior Architect/Data Engineer in the US to design, build, and govern enterprise data platforms on Databricks Lakehouse. You will lead teams, establish engineering standards, and drive governance across the organization.

You will steer data pipelines, ensure scalable analytics, AI/ML readiness, and cost‑efficient operations while collaborating with product owners, architects, and data scientists.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Platform implementation.
• 3+ years of experience leading Data Engineering teams or programs.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Databricks, Spark/PySpark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, SQL, Python.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data platforms using Databricks, Spark, and cloud‑native technologies.
• Define data engineering standards, architecture patterns, and best practices.
• Review solution designs and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
• Drive adoption of Lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, and modern data engineering practices.
• Lead performance optimization, scalability, reliability, and cost‑management initiatives.
