Job summary

IT Advantage seeks a Data Architect Senior to design and lead data integration across regulatory systems and a Databricks-based data platform, ensuring timely, trusted data for regulators and the public. You will define target-state architectures, model data across regulatory and geospatial domains, and guide API contracts, governance, and security in a fast-paced, agile team.

The role requires 7+ years in data architecture/engineering, hands-on Databricks experience, and strong collaboration

Qualifications

• Requires 7+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or data integration, with 3+ years in a data architect role.
• Extensive experience designing solutions on Databricks (Delta Lake, Spark, Unity Catalog).
• Strong data modelling across relational, dimensional, and lakehouse approaches.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns including REST APIs, ETL/ELT, and change data capture.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise data architectures and lead complex system integrations for regulatory programs.
• Architect lakehouse structures on Databricks and define data contracts and API specifications.
• Govern metadata, data quality, and security; ensure compliance with government standards.
• Mentor teammates and translate architecture into actionable user stories within Agile teams.
