Job summary

Venteon is seeking a hands-on Solutions Architect to own the end-to-end architecture of an enterprise data platform, unifying operational, financial, HR, and business systems into a scalable, secure environment. You will mentor engineers, establish architectural standards, and build cloud-based data solutions.

This role balances technical leadership with hands-on development, leveraging AI-assisted tooling to boost productivity and software quality across multi-site operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data/ software engineering or platform architecture.
• Strong SQL Server, T-SQL, SSAS, and Azure Data Factory expertise.
• Experience designing enterprise data platforms and data warehouses.
• Strong programming in Python or Go.
• Experience with Kubernetes, REST APIs, CDC.
• Experience with modern analytical platforms (ClickHouse, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery).
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and access control best practices.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Passion for AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the enterprise data platform including ingestion, storage, modeling, governance, and analytics.
• Architect scalable integration solutions using Azure Data Factory, REST APIs, CDC, and event-driven tech.
• Develop and support cloud-native apps and services using Python, Go, Kubernetes.
• Establish enterprise data standards, governance, quality metrics, and security best practices.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools and automation to improve productivity and software quality.
• Partner with leadership to translate business objectives into scalable tech solutions.
• Lead architecture reviews, mentor engineering teams, promote best practices.
• Design secure, reliable, maintainable solutions for organizational growth.
