Job summary

Envista Holdings Corporation is seeking a Principal Data Engineer to design, build, and govern secure, scalable enterprise data solutions that power advanced analytics and decision-making across cloud, on‑premises, and hybrid environments.

You will lead architecture decisions, establish governance standards, mentor teams, and collaborate with IT security, data science, BI, and business stakeholders to translate needs into reliable data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in data engineering and scalable data solutions.
• Expertise in modern architectures (microservices, event-driven, API-first).
• Proficiency with ETL/ELT, data warehousing, big data, and databases.
• SQL and Python proficiency; cloud experience across Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Security, compliance (GDPR/HIPAA/SOX), and governance knowledge.
• Ability to lead architecture reviews and influence technical direction.
