Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field.
• 6+ years in data engineering or enterprise data platform development.
• Experience architecting and modernizing cloud-based data platforms.
• Hands-on Azure data engineering tech (Databricks, Delta Lake, ADF, DevOps).
• Strong SQL and Python, and Spark or similar.
• Designing reliable ETL/ELT and data models for analytics.
• Experience integrating ERP/source systems and harmonizing data.
• APIs, REST, data governance, and production support know-how.
• Ability to mentor and influence technical direction without formal authority.
• Translate complex business needs into scalable data products.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and modernization of scalable enterprise data platforms.
• Drive multi-year data engineering strategy for platform scalability and maintainability.
• Build and optimize Azure-based data solutions (Databricks, Delta Lake, ADF).
• Harmonize data across ERP systems into common models.
• Partner with analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into data products.
• Establish engineering standards and mentor engineers to raise capability.
• Explore AI-enabled approaches to accelerate development and QA.
• Evaluate tools and patterns to improve performance and governance.
• Support internal data products, APIs, and user-facing analytics.
