Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Principal Architect, Data Product Delivery to lead the design of scalable, secure data and analytics solutions across multiple programs. You will partner with Engineering, Product Management, Data Governance, Security, and platform teams to translate strategy into architecture, roadmaps, and reusable patterns.

You will own architecture diagrams, reference patterns, data models, and architecture decision records while mentoring engineers and translating strategic requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/IS/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in data engineering, solution architecture, or technical design with architecture ownership.
• Experience architecting large-scale enterprise data platforms and integration solutions.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms, data modeling, and Lakehouse platforms like Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture direction, standards, reference patterns, and reusable components for data ingestion, storage, transformation, analytics, and consumption.
• Own architecture diagrams, technical designs, integration blueprints, data models, standards, and architecture decision records.
• Develop proofs of concept, reference implementations, and reusable patterns to accelerate delivery and reduce technical debt.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend fit-for-purpose adoption.
• Mentor engineers and architects through design, planning, and reviews.
