Job summary

Stryker Group is seeking a Principal Architect, Data Product Delivery, to lead scalable data and analytics architecture across multiple programs. You will partner with Engineering, PM, Data Governance, Security, and platform teams to translate strategy into delivery roadmaps and reusable patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree preferred in related fields.
• 8+ years in data engineering, solution architecture, or technical design roles with architecture ownership.
• Experience architecting large-scale enterprise data platforms and integration solutions.
• Hands-on with cloud data platforms and modern data architecture patterns (Databricks Lakehouse, Delta Lake).
• Ability to guide implementation teams through complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture direction, standards, reference patterns, and reusable components for data ingestion, storage, transformation, analytics and consumption.
• Own architecture diagrams, technical designs, integration blueprints, data models, and architecture decision records for Data and Analytics vertical.
• Develop proofs of concept and reference implementations to accelerate delivery and reduce technical debt.
• Evaluate technologies and recommend fit-for-purpose adoption.
• Conduct architecture and code reviews for scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Embed data privacy, governance, and compliance into solution designs with Data Governance and Security teams.
• Mentor engineers and architects through solution design and delivery reviews.
• Translate strategic requirements into technical designs and roadmaps with stakeholders.
