Job summary

Toyota Motor North America Headquarters is seeking a Principal Engineer II, Data Engineering to lead the technical strategy for large-scale supply chain data platforms built on AWS, Databricks, and Azure. You will guide architecture, delivery, and governance across multiple teams, ensuring scalable and secure data solutions.

You will mentor engineers and lead fusion-team initiatives, partnering with product and business stakeholders to drive measurable business impact in a fast-paced enterprise

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing and delivering complex enterprise data and software solutions.
• 5+ years cloud-native data architecture on AWS, Databricks, and Azure.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing across engineering, product, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and advance the technical vision for large-scale supply chain data platforms on AWS, Databricks, and Azure.
• Lead architecture and design decisions across data products and teams for speed, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Provide principal-level technical leadership from discovery to delivery for big data and AI/ML workloads.
• Mentor engineers, tech leads, and managers to elevate technical excellence.
• Directly lead multiple teams when needed and set clear delivery rhythms across workstreams.
• Drive disciplined execution with agile practices and defined acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with product, operations, architecture, and platform partners to convert priorities into actionable roadmaps.
