Job summary

W.W. Williams seeks a Business Analytics & Data Manager to own our data architecture, platform, and BI estate end-to-end. This player-coach role partners with Finance and the C-suite to translate questions into governed data products and to migrate reporting from Tableau to Power BI using Microsoft Fabric.

You will lead a team of data engineers, BI developers, and analysts, ensuring data quality, governance, and actionable dashboards across branches and regions.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive experience in data and analytics.
• At least 3 years leading a team or function and owning an enterprise BI or data platform.
• Expert-level Power BI: semantic modeling, DAX, RLS, deployment pipelines, governance.
• Working proficiency in Tableau to support, assess, and migrate an estate.
• Hands-on experience with Azure data services and Fabric (or equivalent cloud platforms).
• Strong SQL and data modeling; Python or PySpark for data engineering/analysis.
• Proven success partnering with Finance and executive leadership on KPI and reporting.
• Experience establishing data governance, master data, and data quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise data architecture, lakehouse/warehouse, and BI platform.
• Lead migration of reporting from Tableau to Power BI with minimal disruption.
• Deliver executive reporting with monthly reviews and KPI scorecards.
• Run analytics as a product: roadmap, adoption targets, and retirement of low-value reports.
• Mentor data engineers, BI developers, and analysts; manage budget and vendors.
