Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of software or ML infrastructure experience.
• Strong Python skills and production data/ML pipelines experience.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Databricks for large-scale processing and orchestration.
• AWS infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or CloudFormation) for distributed processing.
• Experience handling large-scale time-series or unstructured data.
• Observability tooling (Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch) for production monitoring.
• Experience deploying ML models into production with monitoring and rollback.
• Excellent communication across ML, perception, and simulation teams.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and deploy automated event-tagger into production pipelines at scale.
• Build and maintain data pipelines that organize and catalog tagged data.
• Own CI/CD for the Auto Tagger pipeline using GitHub Actions.
• Write production-grade Python code for ingestion, transformation, and deployment.
• Operate on Databricks for large-scale processing and querying.
• Design and scale AWS infrastructure as code to support high-volume pipelines.
• Instrument pipelines with logging, metrics, and alerting; handle on-call incidents.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to productionize tagging/classification models.
• Ensure data quality and metadata integrity across logs to observations database.
• Troubleshoot performance, reliability, and cost as data grows.
