Job summary

Techgene Solutions is seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA6) to support documentation and modernization of systems in Des Moines, Iowa. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in business analysis and 5 years in data mapping and modeling. Responsibilities include gathering requirements and facilitating communication across teams. This role requires onsite attendance 4 days a week during business hours, with an opportunity for contract extension.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in Business Analysis on large, complex IT systems.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Mapping & Data Modeling (MANDATORY).
• 5+ years working with relational databases (SQL Server preferred).
• Experience with system modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements.
• Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and design documentation.
• Perform data analysis, data mapping, and data modeling.
• Document and manage business processes, workflows, and system changes.
