Job summary

CCGT LLC is seeking a highly experienced BA6 – Business Analyst to join our technology team on a 6+ month onsite contract in Des Moines, IA. You will bridge business stakeholders and development teams, translating workflows into functional specifications and ensuring successful delivery of enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in business analysis, strong requirements elicitation and process mapping skills, and fluency with Jira, Confluence, Visio and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise IT environments.
• Experience in requirements elicitation, process mapping and functional specification authoring.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze and document business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for enterprise software projects.
• Conduct workflow analysis, process re-engineering and gap analysis across departments.
• Translate business needs into functional specs, wireframes and data flows.
• Lead requirements workshops and alignment meetings with stakeholders and technical leads.
• Collaborate with developers and QA during sprint planning, backlog grooming and test validation.
• Support UAT, coordinate defect triage and verify fixes against requirements.
• Maintain traceability matrices linking objectives to implementations.
• Assist project managers with milestones, scope changes and risk assessments.
• Create training materials, user manuals and release notes for end users.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of BA methodologies and SDLC processes.
