Concept Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Data Migration Engineer to support a mission-critical DoW data modernization program. You will lead large-scale migrations, design auditable pipelines, and ensure data integrity while supporting production cutovers in a federal environment.

The role emphasizes advanced SQL, PostgreSQL, ETL tooling or Python scripting, and collaboration with data owners to resolve data quality issues and document migration decisions.

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, including participation in at least two production data migrations.

• Hands-on experience with ETL tools or Python scripting for data transformation and validation.

Concept Solutions, LLC (CS) is seeking an experienced Senior Data Migration Engineer to support a mission-critical application modernization program for a Department of War (DoW) customer.

In this role, you will lead complex data migration initiatives, ensuring the accurate, secure, and reliable transfer of data between enterprise systems. You will play a critical role in designing repeatable migration processes, maintaining data integrity, and supporting successful production transitions.

This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned data engineering professional who brings strong SQL expertise, hands-on migration experience, and a commitment to delivering reliable solutions in a federal environment.

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, including participation in at least two production data migrations.
• Advanced SQL expertise with PostgreSQL and at least one commercial relational database.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools or Python scripting for data transformation and validation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with AWS GovCloud, AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), or comparable migration tools.
• Familiarity with records-retention requirements.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Work Location and Schedule

• Location: Remote
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, with core hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern. Work is organized into two-week sprints, with a customer demonstration each sprint.
• Travel: 0–10%, within the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
• Security Requirement: U.S. citizenship required. Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoW security clearance. An active Secret clearance or higher is strongly preferred and may allow an earlier start.
• Compensation: $170,000–$180,000 annual base salary, depending on experience.

This position is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated start in October 2026.
